Divyangan woman found dead in reservoir after three days of disappearance

Agartala, January 04: A Divyangan woman, who had been missing since Monday, was found dead in a reservoir near her house in Maheshpur on Thursday. The woman, who lived in Ward No. 4 area of Chaikdrun, had gone to the market after completing her household chores and bathing in the pond. Her mother said that she was planning to get married soon.

The police of Kadamtala police station recovered the body from the reservoir around 3 pm and sent it to the mortuary of Kadamtala Social Hospital for post-mortem. The police have not revealed any details about the cause of death or the suspects, pending the autopsy report. The woman’s body was found naked, raising suspicions of foul play.
