Doctors working sincerely, Govt committed to health services: CM

Agartala, 1st July 2025:   Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday said that the state government is taking various initiatives to provide health services, and doctors are working sincerely in delivering these services.

Dr. Saha, who is also the Health Minister of the state, said this while inaugurating the Health Council building at Dr. P. B. Memorial Bhavan in Bidurkarta Chowmuhani today.

In this building, seven council offices have been brought under one roof.

Later, Dr. Saha said that various health-related council offices have been brought under one roof today.

 “Earlier, these council offices were located in different offices of the Health Department, due to which applicants for various registrations had to face several problems. Above all, it has been decided to bring the council offices under one roof with the aim of providing health-related services to citizens in a smooth manner,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is taking various initiatives to provide health services, and doctors are working sincerely in delivering these services.

 “The council offices have been brought under one roof so that doctors can continue their work smoothly,” added Dr. Saha.

Additional Secretary of the Health Department Rajib Dutta, President of the State Branch of the Indian Dental Council Dr. Bholanath Saha, Vice President Dr. Partha Roy Chowdhury, and other officials of the Health Department were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
