Agartala, November 2, 2023: In a historic first, the 36th Association of Scientists of Eastern India Conference is set to take place in Tripura. The highly-anticipated event will span three days, commencing this weekend from Friday to Sunday. Dr. Sisir Das, a prominent figure in the field of neurology, made this announcement during a press conference held today at the Press Club.
Dr. Das disclosed that the conference will play host to distinguished neuroscientists, neurosurgeons, and neurologists from across the country, with the added presence of international medical experts. Approximately 150 delegates are expected to participate in this prestigious gathering.
The state has already witnessed the arrival of renowned doctors from various parts of the country, in preparation for the event. On Friday evening, at 7 PM, the conference is expected to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The ceremony is poised to feature the presence of Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Mayor Dipak Majumder, and other prominent dignitaries.
During the press conference, notable figures in the field of neurology, Dr. Siddha Reddy and Dr. Milind Dewankar, were also in attendance, further emphasizing the significance of this groundbreaking conference.
