Agartala: June 25. A Mega Blood Donation Camp and Safety Workshop of Electricity were organized by TSECL Workers and Employees Sangha at Durga Chaumuhani Bipani Bitan in the capital on Sunday. Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath inaugurated the blood donation camp and workshop by lighting the lamp. MLA Surjit Dutta, Councilor Snigdha Das Deb, TSECL MD Debashis Sarkar and others were present. In this day’s blood donation camp, the members of the organization donate blood voluntarily and enthusiastically.
While discussing the opening ceremony of the camp and workshop, Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that TSECL is with the staff of the department. Efforts are underway to improve electricity service. Plans to provide underground electricity service in Agartala city have been taken up. The workers of the power department are doing the most work. He urged the staff of the department to continue working to improve the electricity service. Then the minister and other guests visited the blood donation camp. The Minister congratulated the blood donors for coming forward to the blood donation camp keeping in mind the social responsibility besides working in the interest of the people with electricity service.
