Entry charges announced for MBB College Lake under Smart City Project

Agartala, 13th October 2025:   The Agartala Smart City Limited has released a revised entry ticket and activity charge chart for the MBB College Lake Complex, which remains open daily from 8 am to 8 pm.

According to the new rates, the visitor entry fee is fixed at Rs 10, while a 30-day Morning Walk and Joggers Pass costs Rs 50. Angling enthusiasts will be charged Rs 200 per rod between 8 am and 4 pm. For photography, visitors must pay Rs 2,000 per equipment, while videography or drone operations will cost Rs 5,000.

The lake also offers water sports facilities, including paddle boating at Rs 50 per person, single-seat kayaks at Rs 100, and double-seat kayaks at Rs 150 per 20 minutes. Parking fees have been set at Rs 10 for two-wheelers and Rs 20 for three- or four-wheelers per two hours.

The authority has enforced strict regulations against littering, smoking, alcohol consumption, use of plastic, and feeding wildlife. Offenders may face penalties between Rs 2,000 and Rs 25,000 along with legal action.

Visitors must also obtain prior permission for events or photography sessions. The management reserves the right to cancel passes or remove violators from the premises.
