Agartala, 12th February 2026: Former Charilam Mondal president Rajkumar Debnath was assaulted in broad daylight, allegedly by members of his own party.
It is reported that the attack was carried out under the leadership of current Mandal president Tapas Das, along with several associates.
Fearing for his life, the injured leader rushed to take refuge at the Bishramganj police station. From there, he was later taken to the hospital for treatment.
