Agartala, 5th  February 2026 :   Ramnagar Road No. 2 witnessed fresh tension after an expensive motorbike was stolen from outside an apartment, sparking concern among local residents.

Reportedly, the bike owner had parked his vehicle downstairs as usual on Wednesday night. However, on Thursday morning, he discovered that the bike was missing.

Subsequent examination of CCTV footage installed at the apartment revealed three men arriving in a planned manner and fleeing with the bike. The entire theft was captured on camera.

The incident has raised serious questions about neighborhood security. Residents expressed anger over the effectiveness of night patrols and the role of West Police Station in ensuring safety. Many argued that regular and visible patrolling could have prevented such crimes.

The bike owner has already lodged a written complaint with West Police Station. Police sources confirmed that an investigation has begun based on the CCTV footage, and efforts are underway to identify the culprits. Authorities are now under pressure to recover the stolen bike swiftly and bring the accused to justice.
