Family appeals to CM Dr Manik Saha for justice, alleges police inaction

Agartala, 24th October 2024:   A family from Narsingarh area has appealed to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, seeking justice and alleging non cooperation by the police at NCC police station. The incident involves Sujit Kumar Shib, a resident of the Narsingarh 70 Colony area, who was found in an unconscious and bloody state in Panchabati area on the 14th of this month.

Sujit’s wife filed an FIR at NCC police station, reporting that her husband had been assaulted by a gang from the Litchi Bagan area. However, she claims that no action has been taken by the police so far. Addressing the media, she detailed the incident and expressed her frustration with the lack of police response.

“Chief Minister, you are my father, I want justice from you,” she pleaded, describing the ordeal her husband had endured and the alleged inaction by the police and investigating officer.
