Agartala, 4th May 2025: A devastating road accident in Ranirbazar claimed the life of a father who was on his way home after purchasing medicine for his ailing two-and-a-half-month-old child. The deceased has been identified as Liton Debnath.
It is reported that, Debnath was riding his scooty when it collided head-on with a bike coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the crash was severe, leaving Debnath critically injured on the spot. Eyewitnesses rushed to his aid and he was immediately taken to the hospital. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
The other biker sustained injuries but is reported to be in stable condition.
The sudden demise of Debnath has sent shockwaves through his family and the local community. Neighbors and residents mourn the loss, expressing deep sorrow over the tragedy that unfolded while he was on a mission to care for his newborn.
