Field visit of officials of SC welfare dept is mandatory: Sudhangshu

Agartala: April 11. SC welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das today directed the officials of the department to mandatory visit field twice in a week and to inspect the ongoing work.

After visiting SC welfare Corporation at Lake Chowmuhani, minister Das said today he held a review meeting with all the officials of SC Welfare.

“Today we held a review meeting with all the officials of SC Welfare. I wanted to know how many projects for SC Welfare is going on in the state and also reviewed about the schemes. We have observed so many things and found that so many works for SC welfare are taking place in the state. In some SC areas many infrastructural development work has been done and some of these projects are ongoing and for these project we also hold meeting with PWD, DWS and other department and directed them to complete the project as soon as possible. In the same time the SC students studying in schools have many schemes. We have also laid emphasis to increase the target of the scheme and also directed to increase the awareness so that SC students can avail the benefits”, he said.

He also said that all the officials of SC were directed of mandatory field visit twice in a week.

“They have to inspect all the ongoing projects and have to visit the field physically. The way we will make plans sitting in the secretariat in the same way we have to go for field visit to speed up the work”, Minister Das said.

He also urged the people of SC community to meet with the sub-divisional officials to know about the schemes and projects that was undertaken for the SC community.
