Fire & Emergency services hold blood donation camp at Udaipur

Agartala, 7th March 2025:  Personnel from the Fire and Emergency Services Department once again showcased their dedication to community welfare by organizing a mega blood donation camp today at the Udaipur Fire Station. The initiative was led by All Fire Station South and Gomati District bringing together over 90 donors to contribute to this noble cause.

The program was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by Udaipur Municipal Council Chairman Shital Chandra Majumdar, Fire and Emergency Services Department Director Uttam Mandal, Udaipur SDPO Nirman Das, Gomati district Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kamal Reang and Additional District Magistrate Sumit Lodh along with other officials from the fire department.

Speaking at the event, Udaipur Municipal Council Chairman Majumdar emphasized the significant contributions of the Fire and Emergency Services Department in protecting lives and property. “The fire department has evolved over the years, adapting to modern demands. From ringing bells in the past to using sirens today, the department has continuously advanced,” Majumdar said. He further acknowledged the role of fire personnel in disaster management and highlighted the government’s focus on modernizing the department for future challenges.

Majumdar also praised the dedication of the department’s staff, remarking, “It is not possible to provide emergency services without their relentless efforts. They play an irreplaceable role in ensuring safety and responding to crises.”
