Agartala, 1st June 2025: A devastating fire broke out in Aralia Gram Panchayat under Boxanagar assembly constituency causing severe damage to a local residence. The blaze reportedly triggered by a short circuit in the electrical connection rapidly engulfed a section of the home reducing it to ashes.
Learning about this incident, Boxanagar MLA Tafajjal Hossain arrived at the scene today accompanied by Boxanagar Mandal President Anil Chandra Das and Boxanagar Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Swapna Nama. The leaders personally met the affected family, assessed the damage and extended financial assistance to help them recover from the tragedy.
Local residents expressed their appreciation for the prompt support, calling the gesture a compassionate step in a time of crisis. The affected family also conveyed their gratitude to the MLA and his team for standing by them in their hour of need.
Meanwhile, the local administration has assured further aid to those impacted by the fire, emphasizing their commitment to relief efforts in the area.
