Food warehouse workers thank state government for bonus

Agartala, November 26: A thanksgiving procession was organized by the All Tripura Government Food Warehouse Workers Union in Agartala city on Sunday. The procession was led by labour leader Biplab Kar, who expressed gratitude to the state government for granting bonus to the food warehouse workers on the occasion of Durga Puja.

Kar said that this is the first time that the food warehouse workers have received bonus from the state government. He said that this decision was very important for the welfare and morale of the workers, who work hard to ensure food security for the people of Tripura.

The procession was held ahead of the first triennial state convention of the union, which will be held on November 28. The convention will discuss various issues and demands of the food warehouse workers, such as regularization of service, pay revision, and promotion.
