Agartala, July 31, 2023: The centenary celebration of Shibdas Ghosh, the founding member and general editor of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI), will be observed both at the state and national levels.
The announcement of the centenary celebration was made last year during a gathering in Delhi on August 05 next. The culminating event for this centenary celebration will be organized through a pan-India gathering at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata on the upcoming August 05.
Nearly lakhs of supporters from 26 states are expected to participate in this grand gathering. Tripura state will also contribute with the presence of over two hundred supporters, and they will depart from Agartala on August 03 for Kolkata.
To ensure the success of this participation, a rally has been organized in the capital on Monday, commencing from the Battala area, traversing various paths in the city.
