Agartala, May 15, 2023: Allegations have been labelled against BJP-sponsored miscreants for physically assaulting four CPIM workers at Bagan Bari area in Udaipur on the night of Sunday last. Later the injured persons were shifted to Gomati District Hospital and currently, they are undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
Maryam Bibi, a local CPIM leader and the wife of the injured Sahib Ali rushed to the hospital after receiving the news. She accused the miscreants are supported by the ruling party leaders and said that the miscreants of the ruling party kept everyone under house arrest since the elections because the family supported CPIM. The family members could not do anything at all. Those miscreants have even threatened to kill her if she leave the house.
Hearing the news of the physical assault, family members rushed to the spot, rescued them and shifted to Gomati district hospital. The accused persons involved in this attack are- Suraj Miya, Rakesh, Haru, etc.
A case will be filed against the accused persons with the local police station. The CPIM leader said that they should be severely punished. This incident has created a lot of excitement in the area.
