Agartala, 20th May 2025: Bishalgarh continues to witness frequent road accidents, with the latest collision occurring in the Rautkhala area this afternoon. An auto-rickshaw bearing registration TR07-3277 and a car collided head-on, seriously injuring four individuals including the auto driver.
The injured persons are- auto-rickshaw driver Harilal Debnath and passengers Momtaz Begum, Aklima Akhter and Suman Sarkar were rescued by firefighters and rushed to the Bishalgarh Sub-divisional Hospital. Dr Majumder later referred Momtaz Begum and Aklima Akhter to GBP Hospital for further treatment. Bishalgarh police swiftly responded to the scene following reports of the accident.
