Agartala, 19th May 2025: Repeated accidents on the Agartala-Sabroom National Highway, particularly in the Kalsirmukh area of Santirbazar subdivision have raised serious concerns among locals. The poor quality of construction has been blamed for the frequent mishaps prompting demands for immediate repairs.
The issue gained further attention after Jolaibari Block BAC Chairman Ashok Magh was involved in an accident at the same location a few days ago. In response, social worker Satyajit Biswas of Jolaibari along with other concerned citizens visited the site and reiterated the need for urgent action.
Residents have voiced their growing frustration, urging authorities to address the hazardous conditions before more lives are affected. It remains to be seen how the administration responds to these demands and what measures will be taken to improve the safety of commuters.
