Agartala, 28th February 2026:   District Magistrate and Collector of North Tripura, Chandni Chandran, joined by Dasda’s Aspirational Block Fellow, participated in the NITI Aayog’s Frontier 50 workshop at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on Friday.

During the panel of District Collectors, Chandran emphasized that the forum was a valuable space to share perspectives on harnessing frontier technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence, to improve governance. She underlined how such innovations could help close learning gaps, expand access, and raise the quality of education delivery at the grassroots.

Highlighting Dasda’s inclusion among 50 aspirational blocks chosen from 500 nationwide, she noted the initiative’s potential to address pressing challenges in public service delivery, especially education. Chandran added that exposure to national-level best practices and policy insights would enable district administrations to craft innovative, technology-driven solutions suited to local realities. The Frontier 50 program aims to foster district-led innovation by piloting advanced tools to enhance efficiency, transparency, and citizen-focused services.
