Governor honours Netaji on his birth anniversary in Agartala

Agartala, January 23: Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary on Tuesday at Maharaj Ganj Bazar in Agartala, where a statue of the freedom fighter stands.

The Governor laid wreaths at the statue and praised Netaji’s role in India’s independence movement. He said that Netaji formed the Azad Hind Bahini to fight the British and inspired millions of Indians with his courage and vision.

He also urged the youth to follow Netaji’s ideals and work for the betterment of the society. The Governor later attended a colorful procession organized by Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan, a school named after Netaji, to mark the occasion.
