Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu visits Maharajganj Bazar, praises traders and infrastructure

 Agartala, 21st February 2024:   Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu paid a visit to Maharajganj Bazar, the largest market in Agartala, on Wednesday afternoon. He was received by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, Corporation’s Central Zone Chairman Corporator Ratna Datta and Additional Municipal Commissioner Mohammad Sajjad P.

The Governor interacted with the representatives of Central Market Committee and various vendors associations of Maharajganj Bazar. He learned about the wholesale business of different products and the facilities available in the market. He also appreciated the presentation of Swapan Kumar Pal, the president of Maharajganj Bazar Central Committee, who gave him a detailed overview of the market’s infrastructure.

The Governor then visited the vegetable, fish, and fruit sections of the market and spoke to the traders. He also enquired about the prices of the commodities. He told the reporters that he was impressed by the quality and variety of the products and the hard work of the traders. He said that Maharajganj Bazar is a very good market and he came to see how the traders sell their products.
