Agartala, 26th February 2025: Tripura Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath emphasized the crucial role of government employees in the state’s development during a program organized by the Tripura Agricultural Graduates Association (TAGA) at their office in Ker Chowmuhani today.
Speaking as the chief guest, Minister Nath stated that the cooperation of government employees is indispensable for the progress of any department under the state government. He stressed that without their active participation, the state cannot move forward. On this occasion, he also unveiled the cover of TAGA’s quarterly magazine, Krishibarta.
Addressing the media, Minister Nath highlighted how technology-assisted farming methods have facilitated agricultural advancements across various districts of the state. He affirmed that both the state and central governments, under the leadership of the Chief Minister and Prime Minister, are committed to development in the best interests of the people. He called for collective cooperation to ensure the successful implementation of these initiatives.
The Minister also pointed out that of the 58 blocks in Tripura, 30 have achieved self-sufficiency in food production, while the remaining 28 are still lagging. He acknowledged the significant contributions of farmers in improving the state’s agricultural sector and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to further progress in this field.
The program witnessed the participation of several dignitaries, agricultural experts, and members of the Tripura Agricultural Graduates Association, who shared insights on the advancements in agriculture and the way forward for the state.
