Agartala, 17th May 2025 : Dharmanagar witnessed a grand tricolour rally today celebrating the historic success of the Indian Army in Operation Sindoor and its triumph over Pakistan. The rally commenced from Padmapur, traversed key streets of the city reflecting the immense pride, gratitude, and patriotism of the citizens.
Among the attendees was Biswa Bandhu Sen, Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly, who joined the march alongside senior government officials, lawyers, teachers, businesspeople, employees and students. Participants carried the national flag and echoed spirited slogans such as “Jai Hind” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
Addressing the gathering, Biswa Bandhu Sen stated, “Through Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army has taught Pakistan a lesson that will be remembered forever in history. This victory belongs not only to the Army but to all Indians. Today’s march has been organized to express gratitude for their courage, valor and self-sacrifice.”
The rally witnessed overwhelming participation, with citizens expressing deep respect for the national flag and unwavering pride in the Army’s achievements. The success of Operation Sindoor has ignited a renewed sense of patriotism across Dharmanagar, making this event a landmark moment in the city’s history.
