Agartala: July 06. Unable to bear the grief of son’s death, a mother has died after committing suicide. The incident happened in Kamalpur. According to the details of the incident, their only child son died of kidney disease on May 6 at the age of nine years.
Since then, Sangita Das, the mother who lost her son, lost her mental balance. On Thursday morning, she went to school and told her colleagues that she had a headache and would leave for house. After some time, she went in a rubber garden next to the school and hanged her self. Locals saw the hanging body and informed the police. The police came and recovered the body and sent it to the morgue for post-mortem. On hearing the news, the husband rushed to Kamalpur from Agartala. Bappa Shukla Baidya, the deceased’s husband, said that Sangita was suffering from mental depression since the death of her son.
