Agartala, July 24, 2023: The ‘Krishak-Khetmajdoor Bhavan’ witnessed its official inauguration on Monday with the hands of the All India Krishak Sabha leader Hannan Mollah, and the state secretary of the AIKS Pabitra Kar.
During the inauguration, Hannan Mollah took the opportunity to criticize the government for its lack of support towards the welfare of farmers. He highlighted that despite multiple protests and demands, the current government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has failed to address the genuine grievances of farmers.
According to Mollah, the present government has emerged as one of the staunchest adversaries of farmers since attaining independence. He accused the government of breaking all the promises made during their rise to power. The lack of fulfillment of these promises has now resulted in disillusionment among farmers.
Mollah further emphasized that the newly inaugurated hall would serve as a platform for farmers to rally and voice their demands. He vowed to organize more protests in the coming days to ensure that the government listens and addresses the concerns of farmers.
The Krishak-Khetmajdoor Bhavan is expected to facilitate discussions and debates on issues concerning the agricultural community. It will play a crucial role in mobilizing farmers to demand their rights and ensure better conditions for them in the future.
