Har Ghar Tiranga: West Tripura Police Takes Out Bike Rally in Agartala

Agartala, 12th August 2026: The West Tripura District Police organised a colourful bike rally in Agartala on Tuesday as part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, spreading the message of patriotism, national unity and harmony among citizens.

The rally was formally flagged off by West Tripura Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak. Additional SP, Rural West, along with SDPOs and officers-in-charge of various police stations under West Tripura district, were present at the event.

A large number of police officers and personnel from different ranks participated enthusiastically in the rally, carrying the national flag as they rode through various parts of Agartala city. The participants urged people to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative and hoist the Tricolour at their homes as a mark of national pride.

The rally also highlighted the police force’s commitment to maintaining law and order and serving the people, while promoting the values of unity, communal harmony and patriotism.

West Tripura District Police said the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign aims to strengthen citizens’ sense of pride and emotional connection with the nation by encouraging every household to display the national flag.

Through the initiative, Tripura Police also sought to underline its commitment to national unity, public service and maintaining peace and security in the state.
