Agartala, 27th February 2024: Three people, including two minors and a child, were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a bike and a passenger Max car in Das Colony area under Sonamura sub-division on Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred when a Pulsar bike, driven by a minor, lost control and slammed into a Max car that was entering Das Colony area from Boxanagar Motor Stand. The impact threw the biker and his younger brother, who was riding pillion, off the bike. Another bike, which was following them, also hit the accident bike and its rider and a child passenger were injured as well.
Local people rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and took them to Boxanagar Community Health Centre. They were later referred to GB Hospital for better treatment.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the accident.
