Agartala, 12th December 2025: A high-level delegation led by Health Director Dr. Debashree Debbarma conducted an inspection of the Tripura Sundari Sub-Divisional Hospital and Gomati District Hospital today.
During the visit, Dr. Debbarma reviewed several critical facilities including the Emergency Department, Outpatient and Inpatient wards, Trauma Care Center, Labor Room, Operation Theatres, Laboratory, Ayushman Bharat Help Desk, Generic Medicine Counter, newly established MCH Clinic Wing, Kitchen, and Blood Bank, along with the surrounding environment.
She also interacted with patients to assess the quality of healthcare services being delivered. Following the inspection, Dr. Debbarma held a meeting with healthcare staff to evaluate the current status of human resources, logistics, medical equipment, medicines, and infrastructure. The primary objective of the review was to ensure improved and effective healthcare delivery across the district.
The Health Director was accompanied by Deputy Health Director Dr. Shankhashubhra Debnath, District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kamal Reang, and other senior officials during the visit.
