The event featured a seminar led by Dr. Sanjib Kumar Debbarma (AGMC), Dr. Mrinal Das (IGM Hospital), Dr. Souvik Debbarma (Tripura Health Services) and physiotherapist Dr. Anindita Bhowmik. Discussions focused on strengthening hemophilia care in Tripura, with key demands including the establishment of a Comprehensive Care Unit (CCU), timely access to Emicizumab therapy, and integration of physiotherapy into long-term treatment plans.

The Society announced plans to submit these proposals to Chief Minister and Health Minister Dr. Manik Saha, seeking government support to improve treatment infrastructure and accessibility for hemophilia patients across the state.

During the AGM, a new executive committee was elected for a three-year term. The body is expected to affiliate with the Hemophilia Federation of India (HFI), facilitating collaboration with national programs and resources.

President Siddhartha Saha expressed gratitude to attendees and reaffirmed the Society’s commitment to advancing modern, inclusive care for hemophilia patients in Tripura.
