Agartala: October 14. Chairperson of Tripura Commission for protection of Child Rights (TCPCR), Nilima Ghosh on Friday resigned from the post of Chairperson while handing over the charge to her successor Himani Debbarma.
Detailing the reporters over this issue, Nilima Ghosh said, “During the period of service, everyone has to retire someday. And so I am also retiring from the post of Chairperson of TCPCR according to the service protocols after completion of 65 years of age”.
Nilima Ghosh however ruled out the conspiracies adding that, “My resignation has nothing to do with any sort of politics but just because I have already completed my period of service”.She further thanked all her colleagues, the administration and hoped that the newly appointed Chairperson Himani Debbarma would work for the welfare of the children and society.
