Agartala, 12th August 2024: A man was seriously injured after being struck by a brick during a family dispute. The altercation took place on Monday morning between Tapan Goala (40) and his wife at their residence in a Brick Kiln at Jirania.
According to eyewitnesses, the dispute escalated rapidly, culminating in Tapan being hit with a brick by his wife. The severity of his injuries necessitated immediate medical attention. Tapan was initially taken to Jirania Hospital, but due to the critical nature of his condition, he was subsequently shifted to GB Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
Authorities have reported that the wife fled the scene immediately after the incident. Local police are investigating the matter and are on the lookout for the suspect.
