Agartala Aug 14: Minister of Fire and Emergency Services, Ram Prasad Pal inaugurated a Mega Blood Donation Camp organized by Tripura Fire and Emergency Service at Agartala.
Minister Ramprasad Pal highlighted the importance of blood donation. “There can be no social service above blood donation”, he said. As a part of Azadi-ka-Amrit-Mahotsav celebrations marking the 75th year of India’s independence Fire Service Agartala organized the Blood Donation Camp.
Department Minister Ram Prasad Pal, Secretary Apurba Roy, Director Anindya Bhattacharya and others remained present. About 140 blood donors including Fire Service personnel and officials of the department donated blood in the camp.
