: T he ICFAI University Tripura has implemented National Education Policy (NEP) from instant Academic Year 2023-24 for transforming future education.
The University has announced to implement either three or four years undergraduates programmes in basic science programmes like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics , Arts programmes like English, Psychology, Commerce Programme and Business Administration Programme as per guidelines framed in NEP2020 by Government of India.
It is to be noted here that the NEP 2020 embodies a visionary and comprehensive approach to education reform. It aims to transform the education system, promote holistic learning, foster critical thinking, and equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in the 21st century.
By embracing the NEP, the ICFAI University Tripura demonstrates its unwavering commitment to providing high-quality education that meets the evolving needs of society. The University has already framed and reformed necessary curriculum for the new education system.
The University is registered under Academic Bank of Credits portal to facilitate credit mobility for students and implemented multiple entries and multiple exit provision for the aforesaid programmes.
The University places a strong emphasis on holistic development by integrating academic learning with various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which helps the students to nurture well-rounded individuals, fostering their creativity, problem-solving abilities and social skills.
