In fighting in BJP Janajati Morcha, MDC Padma demands removal of Janajati Morcha Chief

Agartala: July 19. Internal rift brew inside the Janajati Morcha of ruling BJP after Member of District Council of BJP Padma Lochan Tripura has demanded to change the president of the Janajati Morcha.Problem created soon inside the party soon after new committee of the Janajati Morcha was formed in which Bikash Debbarma was elected as the state president of the morcha.

Today in a Facebook post, the MDC Padma Lochan Tripura has demanded to the BJP president to remove Bikash Debbarma from his post of president as Janajati Morcha.“I am submitting a proposal to the honourable state president to change the president of the Janjati Morcha of the state”, Padma wrote on his Facebook.

Meanwhile when asked him about the purpose about the post Padma said, “My post itself says everything and no need for further clarification”.However sources from the party has said that the new committee was formed after the consultation of state BJP president and central BJP top brass and elected Bikash Debbarma as he is a senior karyakarta and a genuine person.

 “The allegation which was brought against our president of Janajati Morcha is totally baseless. It is been two months the new committee formed after consultation of BJP senior leaders in state and of national level. What Padma Lochan Tripura is doing is for his personal agenda. He is doing such works just to malign the name of the party as well of our state president of Janajati morcha”, the source from the Janajati morcha said.He also said during when the new committee formed no one has raised objection against the decisions and no such complaint arise or came against Bikash.
