Agartala, 28th February 2026: The Red Shield Division of Indian Army’s Spear Corps is organising an Ex-Servicemen Rally on March 02 next at Agartala Military Station under the theme Purva Sainik – Samaj aur Rashtr ke Stambh Registration will commence early from 8.30 am onwards for Ex Servicemen and Veer Naris of the Indian Army and Assam Rifles.
The ESM rally is an outreach initiative to engage the veteran community and is being organised with the support of Rajya Sainik Board to reinforce the enduring bond between the Army and its veterans.
Focused assistance will be given for on-the-spot grievance redressal, pension and documentation assistance, ECHS support, medical and dental services, as well as CSD facilities.
The initiative aims to provide single window access to welfare services and address long-pending issues faced by the veteran fraternity in a coordinated manner under one roof. Senior military officials attending the event will also interact with Veer Naris and veterans of Indian Army and Assam Rifles and felicitate them. This will be followed by cultural performances and a Badakhana.
The ESM rally aims to provide a platform for resolution of issues and dissemination of welfare related information and support mechanisms available to the veteran fraternity in a focused manner. It will also provide an opportunity for serving personnel to connect with those who have served proudly the nation. The event reflects the Indian Army’s continued commitment to the cause of Ex-Servicemen welfare and empowerment of Veer Naris by honouring their service through such coordinated outreach initiatives.
