Intas Foundation’s ‘Apna Ghar’ brings hope to cancer patients in Agartala

Agartala, 31st January 2026:    Intas Foundation, the CSR arm of Intas Pharmaceuticals, is extending vital support to cancer patients in Tripura through its Apna Ghar initiative. The project offers free accommodation, meals, counselling, and a safe environment for patients undergoing treatment, easing both emotional and financial burdens for families.

Beyond basic care, Apna Ghar emphasizes emotional well-being. Regular skill development and vocational training sessions are conducted to keep patients engaged and motivated. These activities not only provide opportunities to learn income-generating skills but also help refresh minds and build confidence during a challenging phase of life.

Patients at the center live together like a family, sharing experiences and supporting one another. Photographs from Apna Ghar show patients actively participating in training sessions and daily activities, reflecting a spirit of togetherness and hope.

With this initiative, Intas Foundation reinforces its commitment to supporting cancer patients beyond medical treatment—creating a community of care, resilience, and dignity.
