Agartala, 6th March 2026:    As the ADC elections draw closer, political campaigning is gaining momentum. With the upcoming ADC polls in focus, the BJP–Tipra Motha alliance has stepped up efforts to strengthen its presence and “make the lotus bloom” in the council.

Today, party workers carried out a vigorous outreach drive in Booth No. 48 of Madhya Kathalia Chhara village under the 36-Santirbazar Mandal. Leaders and activists went door-to-door, interacting with residents and highlighting various welfare schemes initiated by the central and state governments.

The campaign saw not only grassroots workers but also senior leadership joining in. Among those present was Rambabu Reang, a member of the BJP Janajati Morcha’s state committee.

Locals noted that beyond politics, Reang’s active involvement in social initiatives has earned him appreciation in the area. His community-focused work has generated positive responses among villagers, they said.

Speaking to supporters, Reang emphasized that such outreach programmes will be further intensified in the coming days as the ADC elections approach.
