Agartala, December 11, 2022: The silver jubilee year of the the College of Fisheries, CAU (I), Tripura with College of Fisheries Lembucherra Alumni Association (COFLAA), and North East Society for Fisheries and Aquaculture (NESFA), India, are organizing an International Conference on “Responsible Aquaculture and Sustainable fisHeries Interact (RASHI)” during December 13 to 16 next at the premises College of Fisheries, Lembucherra.
The programme is expected to be attended by more than 500 participants including professors, scientists, government officers, entrepreneurs, progressive farmers, start-ups, and students or scholars etc. from all over the globe.
The mega event of ‘Fish Festival’ is one of the center of attractions of this conference and others satellite events including ‘Alumni Meet’ under this international conference ‘RASHI 2022’ are also very significantly thought of and to be executed with greater relevance to the juncture of fisheries and aquaculture development paradigm.
Heikham Dingo Singh, Manipur’s Fisheries minister will be the ‘Chief Guest’ and Prem Kumar Reang, Tripura’s Fisheries minister will grace the occasion as inaugurator of the programme.
