Agartala, 24th May 2026: A saturation camp under the “Jan Bhagidaari Abhiyan – Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” initiative was successfully organized at Unakoti Village Committee on Saturday under the Gournagar RD Block, aimed at strengthening grassroots governance and ensuring doorstep delivery of public services.
The programme witnessed a series of outreach and welfare activities, including a transect walk, beneficiary interactions, Jan Sunwai, health camp, plantation drive, plant distribution, and certificate distribution. The initiative was designed to bring administration closer to the people while ensuring holistic development and effective implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level.
Officials interacted directly with beneficiaries and local residents to understand their concerns and assess the impact of ongoing welfare programmes. During the Jan Sunwai session, grievances raised by community members were heard and addressed on the spot, reflecting the administration’s commitment to responsive and accountable governance.
The health camp and plantation drive also received active participation from villagers, while saplings and certificates were distributed among beneficiaries as part of the awareness and outreach efforts.
Officials stated that the programme was conducted with the objective of strengthening last-mile service delivery and ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is left behind. The camp also highlighted the importance of community participation in developmental initiatives and reaffirmed the government’s focus on inclusive growth in remote areas.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from local residents, public representatives, and officials from various departments, making the initiative a significant step towards people-centric governance in the region.
