Agartala, March 30, 2023: Bharatiya Janata Janajati Morcha Sepahijala (North) District committee held an organizational meeting with the karyakartas at Bishramganj Prantik Bhavan here on Thursday afternoon.
The meeting was attended by BJP state vice-president Patal Kanya Jamatia, BJP Sepahijala (North) district president Gouranga Bhowmik, BJJM Sepahijala (North) district president Kanu Raj Debbarma and others.
As the Lok Sabha elections is scheduled to held next year, all opposition political parties including TIPRA Motha will be given a befitting reply by garnering three-times the votes in the Lok Sabha polls. Hence, BJP state vice-president Patal Kanya Jamatia ordered all the officials to prepare a specific plan, bring together all the organ organizations, reconstitute the booth committees and jump into the field.
In this review meeting, the issues of how to strengthen Janajati Morcha Charilam Mandal were reviewed as well as the defeat of BJP candidate and former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma in this centre. Exactly why the vote has decreased, why it has decreased and which village committee areas have decreased. All subjects are to be reviewed.
Discussing at the programme, the BJP Sepahijala (North) district president Gouranga Bhowmik said that 3200 votes were received in ten village committees during the ADC elections in Charilam assembly constituency. But fifteen hundred votes have been reduced in the assembly elections and maybe the BJP’s vote has decreased due to the fear of the Motha on the hills. However, there is nothing to fear. BJP is an all India party and it is not a regional party. In the Lok Sabha elections, all the karyakartas of the hills and plains should be coordinated and the organization should be strengthened by making concrete plans and moving forward. Janajati Morcha Charilam Mandal leader Bishu Debbarma, Charilam Block BAC Chairman Zakulu Debbarma, BJP leader Ram Manohar Debbarma and Sipahijala district general secretary Rajen Saha among others were also present in this review meeting. Janjati Morcha Charilam Mandal karyakartas were present in large numbers in this review meeting
