Agartala, September 18, 2022: Lefunga police station staff led by its OC Kritijoy Reang arrested a youth and seized huge bulk of phensedyl bottles from his possession at Lefunga on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters, OC Reang said that about 1500 bottles of phensedyl were seized from a good-carrying auto truck bearing registration number TR01AG-1904. The estimated market value of seized Phensedyl is more than Rs 10 lakh.
The arrested youth is the vehicle driver named Sujit Deb, resident of Gopalnagar village under Sidhai police station. Later, Dr Kamal Bikas Majumdar, the Mohanpur sub-divisional police officer rushed to collect report of this incident. OC Riang also said that the accused has been produced in the court today.
