Agartala, 3rd January 2025: A road accident on Boxnagar-Sonamura Road in Kulubari claimed the life of a man early Friday morning. According to locals, the accident was caused by the poor condition of the road.
Eyewitnesses reported that the accident involved an auto rickshaw and severely injured a pedestrian named Faizal Haque. Local residents rushed him to Sonamura Hospital, where he was declared dead by the doctors.
Residents have expressed anger over the recurring accidents in the area, attributing them to the deteriorating road conditions, which have become a major concern for the people of Sonamura.
