Matuadharma Mahasangha visits state

Agartala, April 16: There are four and a half lakh people of Matua community in the state. The central leadership of Matuadharma Mahasangha came to the state on April 11 to unite them.

They went to various places including Nalchar, Dabbari, Asharambari, Ambasa. Badharghat MLA Minarani Sarkar also met them. Their state tour is for development of education movement.

Acharya Pulak Gonsai of Matua Dharma Mahasangh said this at a press conference organized at Agartala Press Club on Sunday under the initiative of Tripura State Matua Dharma Mahasangh.

At the same time a foundation has been built where Tapan Das on behalf of Matuadharma Mahasangh said that this foundation will stand by the distressed talented students and help them to establish themselves.
