Agartala: March 31. Mayor Dipak Majumdar along with Agartala Municipal Corporation’s team visited the Ramakrishna Seva Mandir at Akhaura Road. The monastery authorities requested to visit this monastery area and take some measures. In response to that request, the mayor said that this is the day’s visit. During the visit, he met with the members of the Math and the Maharaj. The monastery is in need of some renovation.
Basically a pond in the monastery needs to be renovated. This pond is used for religious purposes at various times. There is a school also neat the Seva Mandir. Therefore, considering the overall aspect, he emphasized on the reform of the pond. After the renovation, the pond will be barricaded, said the mayor. He also assured that AMC would help in constructing a road. Mayor-in-Councillor Member Tushar Kanti Bhattacharya, Corporator and others were present.
