Agartala, 30th July 2024:   Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport, the only airport in Agartala, Tripura, has been ranked among the top ten in a recent customer satisfaction survey.

Speaking with reporters, S. Haokip Jempu, the terminal manager of MBB Airport, stated that the airport has improved its ranking in the all-India customer satisfaction survey, now placed in the tenth position. The survey was conducted by an independent consultant across 61 airports in the country.

“This makes MBB Airport the best airport in the Northeast, with the highest Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score of 4.76 in the latest round. The customer satisfaction survey is conducted twice a year, evaluating 33 different parameters such as cleanliness, ambience, value for money in shopping facilities, courtesy of airline staff, and security staff,” he said.

He further informed that the survey is conducted by an independent consultant.

“The CSI score reflects the satisfaction levels of traveling passengers. This high CSI score is the result of continuous and consistent efforts by different stakeholders, under the capable leadership of Airport Director K. C. Meena, to ensure the availability of various facilities at the airport. Despite various challenges, MBB Airport strives to provide the best facilities for the comfort of traveling passengers,” he told the publication.
