Meeting reviews development initiatives at Rupaichhari Block

Agartala, 11th December 2025:   A crucial meeting was convened on Thursday to review ongoing and upcoming development activities in Rupaichhari Block. The session was attended by Block Development Officer (BDO) Pritam Debnath and BAC Chairman Rakhi Tripura, who led detailed discussions on the progress and implementation of various projects across the block.

Officials placed special emphasis on strengthening the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) initiatives. Plans were outlined to make the scheme more dynamic in the coming days, with focus on ensuring transparency in workers’ tasks, timely wage payments, and the adoption of new projects.

The meeting also highlighted awareness and inclusion under the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA ID). Decisions were taken to expand digital health services across all Gram Panchayats, aiming to make healthcare delivery more accessible and efficient.

In addition, discussions covered improvements in road connectivity, irrigation facilities, drinking water projects, educational institutions, and other welfare-oriented initiatives. Officials stressed the need for integrated development across the block and conveyed a message of adopting more result-oriented strategies in the future.
