Midnight theft at Kamalpur school sparks public panic

Agartala, 6th June 2025:   A daring break-in at PM Shri Krishna Chandra Girls’ Class XII School has left the locality in shock. The incident took place late last night has raised concerns about security at educational institutions.

It is reported that, a group of thieves forcibly entered the school’s premises by breaking the lock on the main gate. They proceeded to the principal’s office, where they vandalized a cupboard, leaving important documents behind before fleeing the scene.

The school’s principal Suful Shukla Baidya found the theft upon arriving at the school around 12:30 p.m. today. Immediately alerting the authorities, he contacted Kamalpur police, who promptly arrived at the scene to investigate. Initial suspicions suggest the perpetrators were targeting money stored at the institution.Police have launched an inquiry into the case.
