Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma formally inaugurated the event, which was attended by key officials and community leaders.

The project includes the construction of two hostel buildings each with a 50-seat capacity for boys and girls respectively aimed at improving educational access for students from remote and hilly regions. Tribal Council Executive Member Kamal Kalai, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Parimal Majumdar and several other dignitaries marked their presence at the ceremony.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Debbarma emphasized the transformative power of education, stating, “No nation or community can progress without education. The current government is committed to bringing the people of hilly and remote areas into the mainstream through educational empowerment.”
