Agartala, 6th November 2026 : Minister Sushanta Chowdhury extended a helping hand to a man injured in a motorcycle accident while travelling towards Ranirbazar, demonstrating concern for the victim’s immediate well-being.
During his journey, the minister noticed the injured man and stopped his vehicle to check on him. He personally enquired about the victim’s condition, asked about his injuries and offered him drinking water and a tender coconut to help him recover from the immediate shock.
During the interaction, Chowdhury learned that the injured man was a resident of Dakshin Nagar, which falls under his own Assembly constituency. He also provided financial assistance to enable the victim to seek medical treatment.
The minister specifically asked the injured man whether he was experiencing head pain and advised him to undergo an X-ray to rule out any fracture or internal injury. He further assured him that he could contact him if any serious injury was detected.
Observing that the man was nervous following the accident, Chowdhury advised him to rest and avoid riding his motorcycle in that condition. He suggested that the victim call a family member to take him home safely rather than continue riding.
The incident highlighted the minister’s intervention in assisting an accident victim on the roadside, as he took time to ensure that the injured man received immediate support and medical attention.
