Agartala, 30th July 2026 :   Tripura Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday said the BJP has launched a series of “Panchayat-based organisational meetings” under the Majlishpur Mandal to further strengthen the party’s organisational structure at the grassroots.

Addressing an organisational meeting attended by elected representatives, booth presidents, party leaders and workers from the Majlishpur Gram Panchayat under his Assembly constituency, the minister said the initiative aims to make the party organisation stronger and more effective at the booth level.

Chowdhury said discussions focused on reinforcing booth committees, consolidating organisational activities at the grassroots, and ensuring that the welfare schemes of both the Central and State governments reach every household. He added that the meeting also served as a platform to exchange views with party workers and leaders on strengthening public outreach and earning the trust of people from all sections of society.

The minister reiterated the party’s commitment to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, guided by the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and the principle of Antyodaya. He said the BJP remains committed to ensuring the welfare and development of the last person in society through effective grassroots organisation and public service.
