Minister Tinku Roy asks clubs to play proper role in social works

Agartala, March 22: Starting from blood donation, youth should come forward in social work. Clubs are not only for Durga Puja and Kali Puja, but also their participation in social work is important, said Youth Affairs and Sports minister Tinku Roy while inaugurating Lalchara School Youth Festival organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra in North Tripura district on Wednesday.

Nehru Yuva Kendra state Director Joba Chakraborty, District Youth Officer Kunal Gautam, District Health Officer Arunabh Chakraborty and others were also present at the youth festival.

In this youth festival, apart from the cultural competition, there were training programs for the youth in various sectors. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Roy discussed at length about the role of youth.
